About Us
The Home Tech Expo is an event that is long overdue. There are many “Home and Garden” shows out there that are typically full of contractors trying to get your home upgrade business and not really bringing new technology or ideas to the table. They have their place, and The Home Tech Expo is different.
We are bringing a new concept to the industry and created an exposition where anyone who owns or rents a home can see and learn about the latest technologies to enhance their every day lives. This is a show that has something for everyone.
Mark Cichowski and Maurice Naragon are the minds behind The Home Tech Expo. With decades of trade show experience, our organization is uniquely positioned to produce an engaging show for the home market.

We have passion for what we do
Maurice and Mark have been in the computer, audio and video worlds since they were teenagers. With backgrounds like Apple Computer, The Federated Group, Sonance, McIntosh Audio and many other companies they have worked with, they have been involved in the production of hundreds of trade shows worldwide.
Mark Cichowski
Producer
Mark has a broad background including executive management, retail, business development, training, product launches and direct sales. His career began in retail, selling mobile audio and Hi-Fi. He then worked as a sales and general manager for multiple locations of the Federated Group, a major retailer in Southern California and significantly increased volume, margin and productivity. He contributed to writing and delivering company-wide retail management and sales training as well. Mark was recruited by Sonance, a home audio product manufacturer and was their international sales manager, establishing and maintaining distribution in approximately 40 countries. After his tenure at Sonance, he was recruited to be director of worldwide sales for McIntosh Audio Labs. He then established digiCOM, a wireless communications company that was a master agent for Nextel and resold services for AT&T, Airtouch (now Verizon) and Sprint through retail and outside sales. In 2002, he established Clarity AV International, Inc. a worldwide business development and manufacturers’ representative organization. At Clarity AV he conducted worldwide training, managed personnel, created and ran trade shows and created multiple marketing campaigns. In 2009 he founded the Technology & Business Summit Events (which came to be know as the Tech Summit) as a division of Clarity AV. Mark and his team grew those events to take place in multiple cities across the US and Canada. In 2018 the Tech Summit portion of the business was acquired by CEDIA, the main association in the Residential Technology Industry.
Maurice Naragon
Producer
Maurice’s experience started with Apple Computer. As the national media technologies specialist for Apple, he was an evangelist for Apple’s products serving business, education and government entities. He then went on to build one of the larger royalty-free stock photography companies in the United States. After building the digital production team of a Los Angeles, CA design firm and the sales team for a video compression company in San Diego, he managed the staging and built the presentations for all of Apple’s major U.S. and many international trade shows. He also wrote many of Steve Jobs’ keynote speeches and product introductions. Maurice and his staff participated in opening the first 11 Apple Computer retail stores, creating and directing the stage presentations for those stores. He has produced trade show stages and presentations for companies like Sony, Kodak, Disney, Adobe and more. Today, Maurice is a professional photographer, videographer and Web designer/SEO specialist, as well as a creative lead and Trade Show Producer
